I'm excited to invite you to our August Shelby County Historical Society membership meeting!

 

Join us on Sunday, August 2, at 2:00 p.m. as we gather at Flower Hill on the University of Montevallo campus for what promises to be a truly memorable afternoon.

 

This year marks Flower Hill's 100th anniversary, making our visit especially meaningful. As one of the University's most recognizable landmarks and one of Shelby County's architectural treasures, Flower Hill has welcomed generations of students, alumni, and visitors over the past century.

 

Opportunities to step inside this historic home are rare, and we are honored that the University's new president is excited to welcome our Society as part of this milestone celebration. Whether you're a longtime member or attending for the first time, this is a wonderful opportunity to experience a significant piece of Shelby County's history while enjoying an afternoon of fellowship with others who share a passion for preserving our local heritage.
