The Shelby County Museum & Archives staff and volunteers are on hand to help you with your genealogy—for free!  Whether you are a newbie or need help overcoming a hurdle, we are here to help.  And you don't have to be from Shelby County to receive lessons.  Lessons are offered on site at the Shelby County Museum & Archives Tuesday through Friday in two-hour increments: 9 - 11 am, 11 - 1 pm, 1 pm to 3 pm.  You may take multiple lessons.  If you are interested in signing up, please complete the Genealogy Lesson Inquiry form and we will be in touch.  If you have questions, feel free to call Jennifer at 205-669-3912 between the hours of 9 am to 3 pm, Tuesday through Friday.
