It is with great sadness that we announce that the Shelby Iron Works Park will not have its annual Fall Festival this October. The event, which draws thousands of attendees each year, features arts and crafts vendors, sorghum syrup making, antique sawmill demonstrations, blacksmith demonstrations, and live music, and is the park's largest event. But due to the need for social distancing, we feel we will not be able to provide the same experience that we have in the past. We hope the issues presented by Covid-19 will be resolved soon so we may all return to our normal lives.
Smaller events, such as the monthly pancake breakfast held the first Saturday of each month, will continue. Social distancing guidelines are in place to keep our staff, volunteers and guests safe.
We appreciate your understanding and your support.
